Notice of Public Meeting


On Tuesday, February 13th, 2018 at 5:00pm, the Baker County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to review a condition of approval included in subdivision decision SUB-17-001, filed by applicant Mitch Grove (Grove Real Estate), on behalf of property owners, Carney and Deborah Lansford. The original decision approved an 11-lot subdivision within the Rural Residential (RR-5) Zone, with conditions. The subdivision will be created from Tax Lots 1500 and 1502 in Section 30A, of Township 08 South, Range 39 East, W.M., Baker County, Oregon (Refs# 8660 and 16879).

A copy of the applications, all documents and evidence submitted by or on behalf of the applicants, and the applicable criteria are available for inspection. The staff report the Planning Commission will use in its decision making process for this request will be available at the Baker City-County Planning Department by January 24th, 2018. A digital copy of the documents can be emailed to you at no cost, or a hard copy can be provided for a reasonable cost.

The Planning Commission will also hold a work session to discuss revisions to the Baker County Zoning Ordinance.


Both matters will be heard at the County Courthouse at 1995 Third Street, Baker City, Oregon. Copies of the documents the Planning Commission will use are available by e-mail for no charge or copies can be made for a reasonable cost.
