On August 13th, 2019 at 5:00PM, the Baker County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing and work session to consider:

CUP-19-143: a re-authorization request for an expired template test dwelling in the Timber-Grazing (TG) Zone. The property is Tax Lot 4001 of Township 08 South, Range 38 East, W.M., Baker County, Oregon (Ref. #17021). This request will be reviewed using the criteria listed in Baker County Zoning Ordinance Chapters 210, 360 and 420, along with the Baker County Comprehensive Land Use Plan.

Work Session: the potential addition of standards relating to special event permits to the Baker County Zoning Ordinance.

The public is invited to attend this hearing and work session, and to submit oral or written testimony. Failure to provide statements or evidence sufficient to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue, precludes appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals (LUBA) based on that issue. A copy of the application, all documents and evidence submitted by or on behalf of the applicants, and the applicable criteria are available for inspection. The staff reports the Planning Commission will use in its decision-making process will be available at the Baker City-County Planning Department by August 6th, 2019. A digital copy of the documents can be emailed to you at no cost, or a hard copy can be provided for a reasonable cost. If you have questions, please contact Eva Henes at ehenes@bakercounty.org or 541-523-8219.
